Be sure to catch the president's State Of The Union tonight. Hopefully he will address those pesky nerve gas canisters which have been intercepted by terrorists.
Please note: "those missing nerve gas canisters" refer to the plot of 24, there have been no actual reports of terrorists in possession of nerve gas.

5 Reasons To Watch The 5th Season of 24

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
If you haven't gotten into the new season of 24 yet, here's 5 reasons why you should be watching:
  • If you don't the terrorists win
  • You will never guess what's going to happen next
  • You thought the guy with the "CTU" shirt was a federal agent
  • there's nothing better on TV
  • It beats staring at a wall, doing nothing
Check it out tonight at 9 PM on FOX! *Kiefer Update* I found the Verizon commercial featuring Kiefer's voice.

Safety First

Honda has put together a nice little videos which uses a robot to teach kids how to cross the street safely. The catch...It hilarious and its suppose to be a serious educational film! Possibly on of the funniest videos I've seen on in months. Its a little long but trust me its worth it.

Motorola HS820

I recently tried out the Motorola HS820 Bluetooth headset and luckily I kept the receipt. Upon placing a few test calls I found the audio quality to be quite poor. I was able to hear the conversation well however my voice came in very low on the other end. It did however, fit easily over my ear and was not very heavy. *UPDATE* Since I purchased this headset on eBay I am now suspicious that this headset is counterfeit, mainly because there is no UPC on the box. Therefore this review may not accurately describe this product.

You Don't Know Jack

Ok, I shamlessly stole the title from the end of last seasons 24 but, I just realized today that my favorite character on TV, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) has started to narrate in a number of commercials. I noticed his voice right away on the Verizon commercial I saw during 24 but then I read on Engadget that he also narrated the New Intel Mac commercial (show above)...and I have seen that commercial a few times before...How could I have missed that? Anyway, Kiefer has been on fire lately, on Best Week Ever I saw that he starred in a commercial in China, but that one was pretty bad.

First Official Post

This is my first official posting to the surmise blog. I'm sure that over the coming weeks this blog will undergo a tremendous amount of changes and I will probably end up changing the name to something else. Anyway, I hope to fill this blog with my general ramblings: Internet rumors, reviews of products I have recently tried, new products I think look cool and anything else that pops into my head. So stay tuneds and I look forward to blogging with you in the future.
