The real CTU

This is something I have actually known about for a while but for some reason I was reminded of it yesterday. The picture above is a real government agency called the National Counter Terrorism Center, it was established in 2004 (24 premiered in 2001). Doesn't it look a lot like CTU? The similarities are everywhere, the work stations on the floor, the big screens the catwalk. I want to apply for a job here.

That does look like CTU, but I think it's a little different in terms of scope. If this is what I think it is, it's an interagency center designed to integrate data and information from the different agencies, not a separate entity like CTU seems to be, though CTU is clearly modeled primarily on FBI Counterterrorism Centers.
